Hello Everyone – I am Michael Clarke, also known as Mike, Cuss and Nobby, and this blog site records a little about myself and my life here in Thailand. The various topics I’ve chosen are listed on the right.

But first – a brief history:-
After training at RAF Cranwell I went as WOM/AG in Coastal Command – Liberators, Sunderlands (at Seletar), commissioned and married 1950.
Signals Officer Course, then 1952 Patrington (Hull) GCI, 1953 Trimmingham (Norfolk) Early Warning, 1955 Instructor at RAF Tech. Coll. Debden, 1958 390 MU Seletar. Took to sailing in a big way.
1961 HQ Maintenance Cmd. Andover. Divorce No.1. 1962 Sqn Ldr Cosford ASTO for 2500 Boy Entrants. No 2 marriage.
Resigned from RAF -dont like desk jobs.
1965 Emigrated to Costa Brava for better weather and opportunities in sailing, own Sailing /Windsurf Schools for 25 years ,super! Built most of my own fibre-glass dinghies.
1970 No 2 Divorce. Built own house. Long holidays , mainly to Thailand.
1990 No. 3 Marriage, more hols in The Land of Smiles. 2004 Separation.
Tsunami in SE Asia Volunteer boat-builder. 2007 Migrated to Thailand, bought house in Nong Khai and sold that in Spain. Now very happy with Thai lady-friend and her 4yr old son.
