44th Entry Aircraft Apprentices

RAF Halton - February 1942

The following pictures and tables shew 10 of the parties into which the 44th Entry was divided on enlistment in February 1942. I wish to thank John (Dumbo) Butler who did
much of the original research. My thanks also to Ron Barriball, Alan Chambers, Mike Clarke, Les Dale, Greg Hayward, Ivor Llewellyn, Eric Mortlock and Vic Westerman for their subsequent input . Any corrections or additional data would be welcomed.
The names underlined are those of the entry who went to RAF Cranwell to become 4M3's.
