Introduction
This site was originally self-indulgent and created solely to familiarise myself with website creation using
personal information and photographs relevant to my association with ex-4M3's over the years. It has now become a little more generalised with
the addition of a section displaying group photos taken at RAF Halton when we enlisted, the re-creation
of Eric Auty's web site and the addition of the 'Scrapbooks' feature.
The 4m3's is a pictorial rollcall of the entry and includes everyone who was in the entry at one time or another.
Those I Have Met covers 'encounters' with ex-members of the entry during my time in the Service.
The Reunions section owes everything to Harry (Sheks) Keating who, during the past 30 years or more has devoted a great deal of time and effort into tracing our former colleagues, contacting us and periodically reuniting us
.
In Memoriam is a small tribute to those with whom, sadly, there can be no further 'encounters'.
Scrapbooks is a section where individual ex-4M3's can record any information and pictures covering their
post-Cranwell amd post-RAF careers.
Erics Web is my attempt to recreate the 4M3 website created some years ago by Eric Auty
Halton Pictures shews some of the parties into which the 44th Entry was divided on enlistment
at RAF Halton in February 1942
'Associations' are links to the websites of the RAF Cranwell
Apprentices Association (RAFCAA) and the RAF Halton Aircraft Apprentices Association
(RAFHAAA).
If by chance you've landed here I hope you may find something of interest.
